Hmmm...interesting idea. But I've been saving Google maps by using
F-11 (full screen) and using MWSnap. If this actually makes it easier
and larger, it might be a nice toy. I'll try it later..

I just full screened a map in Firefox and compared it to Google Map
Saver's display, and there isn't much difference. That is, once I used
the "Nuke Anything Enhanced" FF extension to remove a lot of the stuff
at the top of the screen.

On my system, GMS loads the maps much faster than FF. The program also
allows saving the screen in a variety of image formats and resolutions,
but so does MWSnap.

I have vehicle GPS and netbook + receiver, but if I know roughly where I'm
going, printing a few maps from GMS beforehand reduces all the clutter /
possible accidents / law-breaking. Laminating them helps too ...
