First my apology on behalf of the previous respondent, KE, for the surly (and pointless) response he or she gave. (Pointless because "just googling it" in fact would lead you to the same long list of links to questions just like yours on public fora, most of those also unanswered, which I found. Anyway... I am finding that in addition to being helpful for netCDF files, the Netcdf-Java Toolbox for Matlab (njTBX) seems to work quite well for accessing GRIB files - both of the gen 1 and grib2 flavors - on both Windows and linux. Download is here:

Surly? Yes, because we are inundated with lazy people who ask a
question before making any attempt to find the answer for themselves.
Pointless? No, because Google is where the answers are (as you have
found, and I found before you), and if the OP had simply tried there
they would not have needed to post here.
