From: Andrew on 28 Apr 2010 10:47 Hi All, We have deployed Windows 2003 servers domain controller in our Main branch, and across all other branch at various location we have deployed windows 2000 server all the server are acting as domain controller for respective branches Now we have enabled password policy on domain controller in Domain security policy in main branch, it got successfully replicated across all other branch and policy is also visible in all the clients at our branches. But after enabling the Audit policy on domain controllers at main branch in DOmain secuirty policy all the windows 2000 domain controllers got replicated and we can see the audit policy on windows 2000 domain controller.. But it is not visible on clients. Can you please guide if i need to change other policy as well... As we another policy for branch computers. Thanks in advance Andrew...

But it is not visible on clients. If you are referring to Password policy then it is applied only where the object is stored. That is, since a user account is stored on a DC the policy for user accounts is applied only on the DC. Any policy on a client will affect only local accounts on the client not domain accounts. > >Can you please guide if i need to change other policy as well...
