From: Richard on 17 Apr 2010 14:46 I have created a report with three "groups" 1) Candidate -- there are many candidates 2) Year -- there are 3 years (2010, 2009, 2008) 3) Category -- there are two categories (billable, non-billable) It works fine until it gets to the third category. It then prints all the billable with a total and then a total after each non-billable detail. Thus: billable detail 1 detail 2 detail 3 detail 4 total billable non-billable detail 5 total non-billable non-billable detail 6 total non-billabe non-billable detail 7 total non-billable grand total Any thoughts would be appreciated
From: Duane Hookom on 17 Apr 2010 14:58 When I have something like this happen, I check the data and then recheck the sorting and grouping. Access reports are very reliable when grouping. They have always displayed exactly as I have asked them to. Some times this is not what I wanted them to do. -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP "Richard" <richard.mogy(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:48dcb3fb-5322-429d-8524-bfd1ab449125(a)u31g2000yqb.googlegroups.com... > I have created a report with three "groups" > > 1) Candidate -- there are many candidates > 2) Year -- there are 3 years (2010, 2009, 2008) > 3) Category -- there are two categories (billable, non-billable) > > It works fine until it gets to the third category. Guess it will be one of life's little mysteries. Thanks for your help
