Hey,
Can anyone give me some tutorials for the usage of fuzblock in simulink..... I am not able to find the correct explanation for the sltank.... I am pretty confused why a pid controller is used in the diagram... and I want to know how to trigger a rule using the fuzzy logic controller with rule viewer using simulink....
please guys help me......................

The sltank example has 2 controllers - a fuzzy logic one and a PID one -- but for each simulation run only one of them is "in the loop".
They are there so that if you want to you can compare the effectiveness of the two controller schemes.

If the constant block feeding into the switch is < 0 then the Fuzzy controller is being used, if it's > 0 then the PID is being used.

sltank quite clearly shows to to incorporate a fuzzy controller into a feedback loop in Simulink, there isn't anything more that another example is going to provide you.

Phil.
