i HAVE A FILE SERVER WITH MICROSOFT EXCHANGE FOR EMAILS
THE WORK STATIONS GET THEIR MAIL FROM IT
WHEN i INSTALL A NEW WORK STATION AND SET UP THE EMAIL ACCOUNT IT DOWNLOADS
3-4 YEARS OF EMAILS
THE WORKSTATIONS ARE SET TO DELETE FILES AFTER 14 DAYS
BUT HOW DO YOU DELETE OLD MAIL OFF THE SERVER
From: BillyBob on
Alym,

Before you attempt to delete the emails off of the server, I would fix a
couple of hardware issues with your keyboard.

Firstly, your Caps Lock key is stuck in the locked position. Typing in all
caps is difficult to read and construed as SCREAMING.

Secondly, your comma (,) and period (.) keys are not working. There is not
one character of punctuation in your text.

Is that how you learned to write ? Type like you are writing a book.

If you don'[t want the e-mails re-downloaded, simply go into the mailbox on
the Exchange server and delete the mail from the mailbox before setting up
the client.
