Ok!, Here my experience using my Kingston SD/2GB card. My calculator
is an HP49g+ with ROM version 2.15,

First let me state the facts:

1. I wasn't able to format the card in the calculator. I tried with
both ways: the [<--][APPS][FORMA], and, the <+><-><Reset> way. After
starting the format process, some while a screen told me to format the
card in a PC as FAT32.
2. Using the PC, I was able to format the card first as FAT16 and then
as FAT32... Both ways, the calculator was able to recognize the SD
card. I formatted the SD card using allocation size of 8192 and 4096,
both ways were fine for the calculator to recognize the SD card.
3. The PC shows me the capacity in the formatted SD card as 2GB.
4. And just to add something else, my Digital Camera, where I use to
have this SD card recognize the 2GB on the SD card. So I am very
confident the SD card is in good shape

Now the problem I see:

According to the HP49g+ File Manager only 960000KB are available in
the card. And I am sure the card content is empty.

Is anybody in this thread able to see the 2GB (2097152 KB) available
on a 2GB/SD card. Or do you thing is a truncation problem with the
display. I mean maybe the field target to display the size in the File
Manager only display 6 digits instead 7 ?.

Format as FAT. FAT32 has a 2 second or so pause every time you power
on the calculator.

It is just a trucation thing. Everything works fine though. When the
calc OS was made 2GB cards weren't even on the horizon. . . :-)
