From: Stephen on 23 Jun 2010 06:55 Prior to upgrading to iOS4 my iPod Touch was able to connect to the Internet via my Nokia N95 using Joikuspot Premium. This sets the N95 to act as a Wifi hotspot, but due to some feature of Symbian it is only able to create Ad-hoc computer to computer wifi networks. After updating the iPod to iOS4, the iPod will see the network as usual, and the N95 reports that the iPod is connected, and shows some traffic travelling back and fore through the phone, but emails never arrive, web pages don't load and time out, and so on. The phone hasn't changed, only the iPod, so I can only suspect iOS4 at the moment.

Possibly an issue with DNS? Have you tried various network utilities, doing things like ping, etc.? -- David Empson dempson(a)actrix.gen.nz

So slow that most apps just timeout or claim there is no internet connection. It might possibly be due to a network slow down with the impending England match, so I'll wait and see what happens later on.

Well it seems OK now, I'll put the outage down to a busy 3G network due to some footy match or something like that.
