Hi all,

I am having problems finding information on a function called ismap. I did a search online and on mathworks and I found some older .m files that use it but I am not sure what it is and help ismap brings up nothing.

I have seen it used as:

if ismap(gca);

is this outdated? Is there a replacement for it?

It's in the mapping toolbox.
