Hello everyone. I hope somebody can help me with that. Here is my trouble.

I have Matlab2008b running under Windows Xp. I use Simulink to control a robot with 2 grades of freedom, first I read the signals from the encoders, do de calculations and send the control signal to the motor's drives using a Sensoray DAQ... everything works just fine. The problem is that I want to see the robot in Virtual Reality. For this I created the virtual world using Solidworks and exported it to "file.wrl" I tried it in Simulation and "Normal" mode and works perfect, but when I try to run it in External mode IT DOES NOT MOVE. I have checked all the configuration parameters and all that stuff. Any ideas of what can be causing this? Your help is very appreciated. =D

Have you seen the "vrmaglev_rtwin" demo? It does something very similar.
Maybe you'll be able to start with the demo, remove the unwanted blocks
(like interface to Humusoft MF624 data acquisition board and the VR
Sensor Reader block) and to try it out. Then, if it works for you, you
can start to investigate where is your model different.

Good Luck, Jan
