Sorry to intrude, but a search on Google Groups didn't give me a
newsgroup that might be able to answer my question. So, I'm asking
quickly for a pointer to a group that will be suitable for a question
regarding a Mac G4 power supply replacement.

Thanks for your and James' suggestions. I'll try there. GoogleGroups
doesn't make it easy to find newsgroups, if you don't know the name of
what you want.

Craig's List (craigslist.org) has an Apple Forum. You might ask in there
if someone can steer you toward one.
