From: Michael Santovec on 17 May 2006 15:28 That's not SP2. That's the original XP. If you had SP2, it would be 6.00.2900. (6.00.2800 is SP1). Upgrading to SP2 may get around the problem. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "marchewd" <marchewd(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B7DF2DD3-5818-4F98-8047-AC4E34AFC0CE(a)microsoft.com... > It is OE 6.00.26. From: Michael Santovec on 19 May 2006 19:23 You could try creating a new identity and see if you run into the same problem there. If the new identity is OK, then something screwy is in the registry for the old identity. Possibly it migrated some old settings. From: marchewd on 22 May 2006 20:47 Michael, I added a new identity and it took care of the problem. The backup program I was using to save all of my messages, address book and setting was about 5 years old, so that must have caused the problem. Thanks again, Dan "Michael Santovec" wrote: > You could try creating a new identity and see if you run into the same > problem there. From: Michael Santovec on 22 May 2006 22:09 I'm glad you got it working. I can only guess that somehow you got an out-of-date registry setting in the original identity that was confusing OE. Doing a back up of your data shouldn't have done that. But doing a restore might have. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "marchewd" <marchewd(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AE2D1B6E-C863-49BC-BDC8-84562CF5BEF3(a)microsoft.com... > Michael, > I added a new identity and it took care of the problem.
