From: Paul Fuchs on 11 Feb 2010 13:08 I am running 10.6.2 with iTunes 9.0.3 connected to the net with a wifi router. I just had an electrical blackout while my iPod touch was connected to the USB port. I have my iTunes folder located in the user>shared folder. Right after the blackout, the library registered as if it were empty and a brand new installation. Nada. My libary is still intact reading 11.5 MB where I last put it, and where it was working proior to the blackout. How do I tell iTunes to reconnect to this library without totally rebuilding it? I am running a MacBook and the battery was 100% at thet time of the blackout, which makes this even stranger. Restarting the OS didn't help. On second thought, I just downloaded and installed the upgrade to 9.0.3 yesetrday, and I don't think that I actually went into the Mac iTunes library since then. It migfht have looked for the library in my user folder instead of the shared one, and come to the conclusion that there wasn't one. In any event, what is the easiest way to tie in the proper library file again? TIA -- During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. George Orwell |
