From: Dan Walowski on 4 May 2010 14:30 Anyone have any idea how to contact Microsoft about a hotfix that cannot be accessed. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943545 When you try to request the hotfix, the site replies "The system is currently unavailable. Please try back later, or contact support if you want immediate assistance." but the only tech support available costs $99 and up. Doesn't seem like I should have to pay for a hotfix. Thanks, Dan

Works fine here, I requested the hotfix at: http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=943545&kbln=en-us and they emailed me an HTTP link and password. John

Just go to that URL (which I just tested and it worked OK for me, so hopefully if you try again it will work for you too), click the download link and enter your email address. Hopefully that works for you. Thanks -- -- James McIllece, Microsoft Please do not send email directly to this alias. This is my online account name for newsgroup participation only.
