Usually, the best way to bring new ideas to the developers is to use issuezilla. You have two ways to achieve this: 1) you can go to qa.openoffice.org and use the link under "Project tools" in the left sidebar or use the "big" link that's called "Report a Bug" in the main site 2) you can go to de.openoffice.org and click on "IssueTracker" under the heading "Mithelfen" (second link in that list). You can also join the appropriate mailinglists, for example dev(a)openoffice.org (international developers list) or dev(a)de.openoffice.org (german speaking List for organising the de-project). >  My name is Frank Hummel, I'm 29 years old and I studied industrial >  design >  in Darmstadt, Germany. I'm not 100 % sure, but doesn't "Window > Split" (Fenster > Teilen) do what you want? I'll check later and will tell you if I have a solution for this. ;) Sigrid --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: discuss-unsubscribe(a)openoffice.org For additional commands, e-mail: discuss-help(a)openoffice.org

On Windows? Select both windows in the task bar (using the Ctrl key), then use "Tile Vertically" from the context menu of the task bar entry.
