From: Sensor1 on 3 Feb 2010 11:25 There is a solid horizontal line that somehow appeared at the bottom of a page of MS Word text immediately below the last line of text. Trying to delete it by selecting and then backspacing does not do the job. Erasing text immediately above it causes the line to move up one text line. Trying to remove it by using the "underline" icon also fails. It is very importan thtat this line be removed. Any hints will be appreciated.
From: Pesach Shelnitz on 3 Feb 2010 12:22 Hi, For an explanation of how such a line is created and instructions for removing it, see the section entitled "Lines of Various Shape and Thickness That Stretch Across Your Pages" on my Web page at http://www.makeofficework.com/mysterious_behavior.htm . See also http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/CantGetRidOfLine.htm . -- Hope this helps, Pesach Shelnitz My Web site: http://makeofficework.com "Sensor1" wrote: > There is a solid horizontal line that somehow appeared at the bottom of a > page of MS Word text immediately below the last line of text. From: marysully on 3 Feb 2010 12:24 Try switching to "normal" view to see if the line still shows up. I'm not sure , but It may be a page break line that you are seeing in print layout view. It could also be a border--try selecting the line and clicking on the "no border" button. Hope this helps.
