How do I change to Metric measurements

From: Martin C on 18 Jan 2010 03:38 Not exactly sure I know what you mean, but just in case, try the following: Start/Control Panel/Regional and language options Make sure you have the language correct in the drop down box and then click on the Customize button. Update the Measurement system drop down to select Metric. OK out of the control panel. Not sure if this will need a reboot or not. Hope this helps. I was trying to do a page setup in Sure Thing CD labeler to have the printable area of a CD/DVD correspond to the placement requirement of my new Epson Artisan 810 multifunction printer. Much more accurate to measure the actual CD/DVD in metric rather than imperial. I did actually go to Start/Control Panel/Regional and language options and to the customize box, but my poor tired old eyes just didn't get all the way to the bottom of the list of options. Anyway, I now have my page setup so that my DVD's print EXACTLY on the printable area. Many thanks to all of you who replied and in such detail. I don't know what I'd do without these groups - they are all wonderful. I've learned more from them than I would from a thousand books.
