What is a "MS ws" and by "excel ws" do you mean an Excel Worksheet?

Assuming you are talking about Microsoft Project, have you tried Menu:
File/Save As and save as a type=Microsoft Excel Workbook. Alternatively,
you can use Menu: Report/Visual Reports... to create Excel workbooks
from Project files.
