From: Marc Silhan on 23 Feb 2005 15:07 When connected to DSL, I want for new windows to open full screen automatically. This used to work fine until I accidentally hit 'cascade windows.' Now any new windows open small. I've tried the 'uncascade windows' (from right click on an open spae in the task bar) but this only does the uncascade for the windows currently open. Any new windows continue to open small. How do I fix this? Thanx. -- Marc

From: Marc Silhan on 24 Feb 2005 12:25 That didn't work Kelly. I made the window full-screen, and then hit File/Close. When I click on a link again to open a new window, it still opens small. From: Kelly on 25 Feb 2005 01:07 How did you make it full size, Marc? Which method did you use, exactly? Also, make a note that any second window opened inherits the size of the last opened, thus the procedure would need to be repeated. -- All the Best, Kelly (MS-MVP) Troubleshooting Windows XP http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com "Marc Silhan" <MarcSilhan(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:22AF6F28-9EEF-428E-BD62-8AA96173DC0F(a)microsoft.com... > That didn't work Kelly. I tried both ways to make the window full size - by cliking on the full-size button, and by dragging the borders. I then did File/Close. Neither way works. New windows still open small.
