From: Terry on 12 Feb 2010 13:00 I've just "moved up" to Office 2007 from Office XP. How can I get rid of the annoying Access startup page, "Getting Started with Microsoft Office Access", or at least modify it to get rid of the "Featured Online Templates" and "Microsoft Office Online" frames. I prefer a clean, uncluttered interface, as in Access XP. I know that you can avoid this by opening a database file directly, but that isn't always the most efficient method of working. Thank you.
From: Maurice on 15 Feb 2010 16:55 You can not get rid of this feature. This is the 'new' startupscreen of Access 12. If you don't want it you have to start up a database indeed. I agree it takes a little time to get used to (kind of a busy screen) but after some time you stop thinking about it :-) -- Maurice Ausum "Terry" wrote: > I've just "moved up" to Office 2007 from Office XP. But you can go to the Access options and there's an option to start last used database. it's under the Advanced options. gls858
