From: Chris Peterson Chris on 13 Apr 2010 10:05 Russ Seriously this is an ongoing issue with Microsoft, how difficult can it be to get a company name to default if it exists. The Gmayor option is too complex for the average user and all the method's that start with Outlook are more than 10 steps. This is hardly making the users experience simpler! From: Russ Valentine on 13 Apr 2010 17:19 Seems simple enough to me. Modifying Word's AddressLayout is pretty straightforward. It even supports conditional formatting so that the field appears if it is populated and suppressed if it isn't. I haven't found many people who can't figure it out by reading the instructions. Were you expecting Word to provide a GUI interface for every possible address configuration users might want? Just how bloated do you want these programs to be? -- Russ Valentine "Chris Peterson" <Chris Peterson(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:601A541E-AEAD-44B0-A871-690367D45063(a)microsoft.com... > Russ Seriously this is an ongoing issue with Microsoft, how difficult can > it > be to get a company name to default if it exists.
