From: Artemis Bob Artemis on 13 May 2010 16:35 I am attempting to insert photos into specific cells on an Excel spreadsheet. I can insert photos just fine, but they are not anchored to any specific cell. For example, I want a photo in cell A1 as part of a large spreadsheet of photos and data. How do I do it?

In Excel 2007, right click on your picture, click on Size and Properties, click the Properties tab, select Don't Move or Size with Cells, click Close. The photo isn't "in" the cell; it's over the cell... I'm pretty sure Excel 2003 includes this capability, but it might not be quite the same commands. Bill
From: Gord Dibben on 13 May 2010 19:16 Photos or other objects cannot ne inserted "into" a cell. They can only lay on top of the cell or cells. Do you want photos to sort with the cells? The photo must lie within the cell boundaries and "move and size with cells" must be enabled.
