From: ladeda16 on 9 Apr 2010 20:57 Suppose I have a word named WORDED, and I want the "ORDED" part to become slightly smaller. I want it like "ORDED with smaller caps" and not like this "orded". I tried going selecting "ORDED and changing the font to small caps", but nothing really happened. How do i fix this?
From: Herb Tyson [MVP] on 9 Apr 2010 21:07 The usual way would be to type Worded (with an initial cap), and then format the whole word as Small caps. If the difference isn't sufficient, you could always type the word in all caps and format the W as 12 points and the ORDED as something significantly smaller, such as 8 points. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word Bible Blog: http://word.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "ladeda16" <ladeda16(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7AE83CC1-EB91-47F6-B4E5-5826C0D24538(a)microsoft.com... > Suppose I have a word named WORDED, and I want the "ORDED" part to become > slightly smaller. From: Suzanne S. Barnhill on 9 Apr 2010 22:16 The trick is that you have to type in caps and lower case and then apply the Small Caps property. Word will not turn caps into small caps; you have to use lowercase. -- Suzanne S.
