I want to be able to type with the view at the bottom of the screen (or
anywhere) of what line I am typing on. I don't know how to make this appear!
It would be extremely useful when doing transcription at home.

Since this is display on the status bar by default in Word 2003 and earlier,
I'm guessing you must have Word 2007. Right-click on the status bar and
select that and any other items you want to add.
