You can't edit a Word document or create a spreadsheet with it off either. So? You don't "save incoming mail to the server". Incoming mail already is ON the server. That's where it gets delivered. Outlook then pulls it from the server so you can read it. What's your goal? If it's to be able to read mail while your computer's off, forget it. That can't be done. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
