Open the custom.dic (it can be opened in Notepad) and remove the word. The dictionary might be at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\UProof. You can also get to the custom.dic by typing an obviously misspelled word, right click and then choose Options from the spelling dialog. In there you'll find a custom dictionary button.. click it then choose edit. If you need specific instructions, we need to know your version of Outlook. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "Aquabluesky88" <Aquabluesky88(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B70C22AE-C259-42B1-94D9-CD1ACCB86247(a)microsoft.com... > I accidently Added a misspelled word into the dictionary.
