Dear All
Can you please let me know how can I choose my Solaris8 on Sparc
platform machine to be booted from NFS (rather than boot from cdrom or
net)?
Thank you

Using "boot net" for a regular boot or "boot net - install" for
an installation at the ok prompt. For this to work, you will need
a server that is configured using the "setup_install_server" and
"add_install_client" scripts in the Solaris_8/Tools directory on
the cdrom.

IFF you have a server that's configured to give you a network boot, it's
as simple as typing:
boot net
at the OBP prompt.

If you don't have a server configured, you need to hit the books and do
it. Or just resign yourself to booting from disk, CDROM, or DVD.
