From: Sterling Duncan on 2 Oct 2009 12:12 On the SBS 2008 server, I have been trying to delete an alert for the past 30 days. I CLICK UPDATES, in UPDATES IN PROGRESS space , the alert Windows Server Update Services 3.0 sp2 dynamic installer for server manager...in progress continue to show as active. I believe that the system is attempting to make a win 2008 std (domain member server) the update server for the domain? I also believe that I am responsible for this error. I want to delete/clear out this message from the SBS server for obvious reasons. I have searched but I have not been successful in identfying the solution to delete the alert. Thanks...The SBS server should be the only WSUS server in the domain. If you have been there and done this -Any help is greatly appreciated!
