We need to enable certain users to hide their free/busy status from others
in our domain. We've tried setting their Free/Busy Options to “Publish 0
month(s)” and restart their outlook with the /cleanfreebusy switch. However
when right-clicking on that user's name anywhere within outlook, the menu
always displays “Free for next 8 hours” though in fact they may not be.
Suggesting that the user is free is exactly what we want to avoid. There has
to be a way to hide free/busy status altogether. What are we doing wrong?
Any help is appreciated.
