Hello

I have read somewhere in the forum that it is possible to read RS232 port real time with rtwt. In documentation it is mentioned that one can write custom blocks for this task but there is no example or explanation. Is there anyone accomplished this. ( I think Mr. Jan Houska wrote that it is possible in the newsgroup).
In the documentation it is clearly stated that you can not use win32 api, also you cannot use Data Acq toolbox. I am really r...

Serial port is a supported device in Real-Time Windows Target since
version R2007b. You should use the Packet Input or Stream Input blocks
(depending on input data format) together with the Serial Port driver.
