Hi all:

Just an update. After performing the refresh as suggested, which worked
well, took only 4 hours!, the system has stabilized. I have also cleaned
the memory stick contacts, no Pink Pearl eraser was handy so I had to use a
white "stick" kind, that may have helped too.
