From: Terry Farrell on 23 Jan 2010 13:11 Hold down the SHIFT key as you draw will snap in 45 degree increments. From: Jay Freedman on 23 Jan 2010 13:42 Hold the Shift key while drawing the line shape. That will make it snap to the nearest 15-degree location, so it's easy to tell when it's horizontal. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.

If you are drawing it, you already have an answer. If it already exists, set its height (or width as appropriate) to 0 - in Word 2007 it's easy to change on the Ribbon; in earlier versions right click and choose Format and then goto the Size tab. -- Enjoy, Tony www.WordArticles.com "oryviej" <oryviej(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:61004A38-5C08-4EA7-A9B0-68AC5C2B9E91(a)microsoft.com... > |
