I spent last night getting Hudson working on my server. I thought I
would post a link here in case anyone else is interested in setting up a
continuous integration server for use in Java development. The tutorial
actually targets setting it up for use developing Groovy on Grails apps,
but nearly all of it applies to Java development too and the Grails stuff
is clearly delineated.

Please let me know if you have any problems with it:

Why would the authors pick a name that could hide in Google?

When you cant find a bug, you are probably looking in the wrong place. When you cant find your glasses, you dont keep scanning the same spot because you are convinced that is where you left them.

I find that a good general rule for searches like that one is to add the
word "Java". Google for:

Java Hudson

got https://hudson.dev.java.net/ as the first result. The rest of the
first page of results all looked relevant.

From home:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at
www.electricsenator.net.

From the cloud:

twic(a)urchin:~$ lynx http://www.electricsenator.net/2009/10/03/1254618530821.html
Looking up www.electricsenator.net
Making HTTP connection to www.electricsenator.net
Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host.

Is that your end, or has some terrible disaster cut you off from Britain?
