Firefox is almost as intuitive as Total Annihilation was. Just one of many ways Firefox is superior over Internet Explorer... If your connection or power is somehow interrupted, the next time you start Firefox, it will offer to replace all of the windows the way you had them before. That kind of thing reminds me of how pathetic Microsoft programming really is. And it gets worse. Internet Explorer is the only program I have that does not know how to interpret my mouse settings properly. For some bizarre reason, the scroll wheel erroneously switches to freewheeling mode in Internet Explorer. But whatever, do whatever you feel like doing, it is your loss not mine. -- > until I can find a browser that does inline > auto-complete from the address bar, using entries from the > favorites/bookmarks folder/file. > > Jon > > > > > > Path: news.astraweb.com!border5.newsrouter.astraweb.com!news.glorb.com!news2.glorb.com!feeder.erje.net!news.mb-net.net!open-news-network.org!aioe.org!not-for-mail > From: "Jon Danniken" <jonSPAMMENOTdanniken yahSPAMhoo.com> > Newsgroups: alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt,alt.fan.mozilla > Subject: Re: I may be switching from FF to IE > Date: Thu, 10 Jun 2010 05:26:12 -0700 > Organization: Aioe.org NNTP Server > Lines: 12 > Message-ID: <huqll4$ojc$1 speranza.aioe.org> > References: <743c3ab9-7c9b-4fb9-b5c8-6fa372aab11e 11g2000prv.googlegroups.com> > NNTP-Posting-Host: uFVFGOMwH3yYRog0KTfltg.user.speranza.aioe.org > X-Complaints-To: abuse aioe.org > X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.5931 > X-RFC2646: Format=Flowed; Original > X-Notice: Filtered by postfilter v. 0.8.2 > X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5931 > X-Priority: 3 > X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >

Not the last time I checked. If they were to do it, I'd be using FF as my default browser. Jon

I'm using both FF and IE8. Believe me, IE is MUCH, MUCH worse. There's really no comparison. I can put up with the few problems FF has, especially now that the Sky Pilot Classic theme is back. :) Larc
