From: --CELKO-- on 26 Dec 2009 21:37 I am writing the fourth edition of SQL FOR SMARTIES and working on future editions of my other books. I have procedures in them written in Pascal, other (usually block structured) languages and pseudo-code that I want to get re-done in SQL/PSM. If I am going to push Standards, I need to get my act together. I am looking for some experienced SQL/PSM programmer(s) to do the work in exchange for 1) Fame and glory! I am pretty good about giving credit in the books for material I use. 2) Free books when it goes to print with your name in it! This will let you show your friends and family that you have a job! My mother never believed what I did for a living until she saw my name in print. 3) I will PayPal for the work if 1 and 2 don't work. Fame and glory are not always as good as beer. Seriously, I am going to be swamped in January and need to job out the work. I advocate "buy, don't build" for software packages, too. I should have extracted the code I need re-done by the middle or end of the month. They are all short procedures or functions, not complete systems.
