From: dogancaufuk@gmail.com on 11 Feb 2005 04:22 When navision starts its starting recovering list of free blocks then when it about %30 - %35 it is giving this error. __________________________________________________________________ There is an error in the database structure. The error (1053 in module 19) may have been caused by the computer or a program. Table: Company: Key Fields: First check the database by clicking File, Database, Test and then click Maximum. If you still get the same error, you should: 1) Make a backup of the database by copying the database file(s). 2) Use the built-in function to make a backup. 3) If this works, create a new database WITHOUT deleting the database that contains the error(s). Restore the backup (made with the built-in backup function) into the new database, and test it by clicking File, Database, Test and then click Maximum. If this procedure does not work, any changes to the database done after the most recent backup are lost. Restore the most recent backup (made with the built-in backup function) and test it. For security reasons, you should save the old database until you have used the new one for a period of time. Warning! This error MUST be corrected before you can continue. Contact your system manager if you need assistance. ___________________________________________________________________ But it it not opening the database so i cant test it what can i do is there any other external program to repair it? Thanks. dogancaufuk(a)gmail.com
From: Josef Metz on 11 Feb 2005 04:38 Hi, try th start your client with the parameter "dbreadonly=yes", then make a backup and rebuild your database with this backup. Otherwise you have to contact your NSC, which should contact MBS to support you. There is a tool called C/DART to repair a database, but this is very time expensive and will be done only by MBS. br Josef Metz <dogancaufuk(a)gmail.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:1108113750.216197.91200(a)o13g2000cwo.googlegroups.com... > When navision starts its starting recovering list of free blocks then > when it about %30 - %35 it is giving this error. > __________________________________________________________________ > There is an error in the database structure. The error (1053 in module > 19) may have been caused by the computer or a program. This is the info I have about error 1053 in module 19: 19 1053 #Err_DB_DoubleReff DB_Err(1053) The error is #Err_DB_DoubleReff DB-Err and that means that there is a double reference. This reference is in the list of free blocks and therefore you may be able to solve the problem by starting the database Read-Only (The list of free blocks won't rebuild). If you can start the database this way, you can do some testing and maybe locate the faulty area. This way you may loose less than if you have to use the Backup.
