To completely delete your extensions, just rename the Configurations folder
that is under your username (NOT the one in the Program Files hierarchy) -
and see if the problem goes away. If it does not, then you can rename the
folder back to Configuration and you have your extensions back.

renamed Config folder so no extensions were used.

you have any other ideas Murray. I see other have posted this issue with IE7 and DWMX. No one really fixed it other than rolling back to IE6. If we could fix it that would be awesome!

If you would upgrade to DW8, that would fix it in lots of good ways.
