From: Howard on 7 Sep 2005 06:15 Hi Hi, I still fail to run IISState. What if this server cannot go out? As I know, the IISstate will go out to Microsoft Symbol Server the first time you run IISState. Besides, anyone know what crash the IIS worker process? From: David Wang [Msft] on 7 Sep 2005 08:03 Anything you configure to run on IIS can crash the worker process. At this point, it looks like something random you installed is crashing IIS, so you need to figure out what you installed that is breaking and get it fixed. Tools like IIS State and DebugDiag help you do this. If you cannot use the tools, then you need to know how to get a debugger attached and gather the information yourself, or contact and pay Microsoft PSS to do this -- because these are the only ways to resolve the issue. Your choice on whether you want to help yourself for free or pay someone else to do it. Hi, Thanks. I will try to run any diagnose program and dump the information first. Howard "David Wang [Msft]" wrote: > Anything you configure to run on IIS can crash the worker process.
