This error happens because IIS attempts to decrypt certain keys in the Metabase (usually passwords) when starting the IIS Admin Service and uses a MachineKey under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys to do this. From: Vic on 22 Nov 2006 22:30 Hi Jacq, I didn't do any backup for the metabase. But the file is exist & intact. If I don't have any backup of metabase & its possible corrupted.
