Hi,

Why would an email sent via Outlook/Exchange 2007 return this as the address
(in this format) the NDR? Even though user claims to enter email address
properly?

IMCEAMAILTO lhattery+40domain2+2Ecom(a)domain1.com

sender from domain1
recpt. = domain2

What does IMCEAMAILTO mean?

Thanks,
Mike Bonvie

Can't answer the other questions, but IMCEA means IMC Encapsulated
Address (sort of a throwback to Exchange 4.0/5.0).

IIRC, the +40 is a decimal 64, and that's a "@". It looks like the
address was lhattery(a)domain2.com@domain1.com, clearly not what was
intended!
