From: Mike Bonvie on 10 Jan 2008 13:03 Hi, Why would an email sent via Outlook/Exchange 2007 return this as the address (in this format) the NDR? Even though user claims to enter email address properly? IMCEAMAILTO lhattery+40domain2+2Ecom(a)domain1.com sender from domain1 recpt. = domain2 What does IMCEAMAILTO mean? Thanks, Mike Bonvie

Can't answer the other questions, but IMCEA means IMC Encapsulated Address (sort of a throwback to Exchange 4.0/5.0). IIRC, the +40 is a decimal 64, and that's a "@". It looks like the address was lhattery(a)domain2.com@domain1.com, clearly not what was intended! -- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP MS Exchange FAQ at http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Don't send mail to this address mailto:h.pott(a)getronics.com Or to these, either: mailto:h.pott(a)pinkroccade.com mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle(a)getronics.com mailto:melvin.mcphucknuckle(a)pinkroccade.com
