When I try to install Dreamweaver 8, I alway get this message:
The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please
run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.
I have tried to reinstall it so many times, but I still have this problem. pls
help

i have the same issue. anybody have a solution? i already updated the microsoft installer and the installshield. no use.
any suggestions?

yes, i got the same problem. new MS intaller 3.1 v2, new isscript.msi v 7 8 and 9
but nothings working, so please macromedia HELP

I run Windows XP SP2. By the way, I never got this message in my life.

Hi,

I had this problem as well. I followed the instructions here:

choosing the version 10 zip file located here:

http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108322/ISScript101.zip

It worked for me.
