The wave enters and exits both slits in a double slit experiment and the 'particle' enters and exits a single slit. Answer the following: A C-60 molecule is in the slit(s) of a double slit experiment. Detectors are placed at the exits to the slits. The C-60 molecule is always detected exiting a single slit. A C-60 molecule is in the slit(s). Detectors are placed and removed from the exits to the slits. The C-60 molecule creates an interference pattern. In Aether Displacement, the C-60 molecule always enters and exits a single slit in a double slit experiment. The associated aether displacement wave enters and exits multiple slits. The associated aether displacement wave creates interference upon exiting the slits which alters the direction the C-60 molecule travels. Detecting the C-60 molecule causes decoherence of the associated aether wave (i.e. turns the wave into chop) and there is no interference.

The wave enters and exits both slits in a double slit experiment and the 'particle' enters and exits a single slit. ------------------------------------------------ You misunderstqand the double slit experiment. Photons (particles_ of light are sent throughthe silts one at a time. Because photons do not have a specific location as we would imagine a particle to have the photons pass though both slits at the same time. The partilces are spread out over the whoile area covered by the slits. There is no aether. Take care -- Stanley L. Photons are sent through the slits one at a time. The photon 'particle' has a specific location at all times. It is not possible to know this exact location without detecting the particle. The photon 'particle' enters and exits a single slit. The photon wave enters and exits both slits. I noticed you did not answer my thought experiment. A C-60 molecule is in the slit(s) of a double slit experiment. Detectors are placed at the exits to the slits. The C-60 molecule is always detected exiting a single slit. A C-60 molecule is in the slit(s). Detectors are placed and removed from the exits to the slits. The C-60 molecule creates an interference pattern. How is the above possible? In Aether Displacement, the C-60 molecule always enters and exits a single slit in a double slit experiment. The associated aether displacement wave enters and exits multiple slits. The associated aether displacement wave creates interference upon exiting the slits which alters the direction the C-60 molecule travels. Detecting the C-60 molecule causes decoherence of the associated aether wave (i.e. turns the wave into chop) and there is no interference.
