From: SAC on 13 Feb 2010 12:13 Word 2003 I would like to indent a paragrah on both left and the right at the same time like this: Normal text.........................................aaaaaa.................aaaaaaaa............... Indented paragraph....................................Indented Paragrah Normal Paragraph.............................................................Normal Paragraph How can I do this? I really don't want to have to change margins each time.... Is there a way I could program a shortcut to do this? Thanks for your help.
From: Jay Freedman on 13 Feb 2010 12:48 The built-in style named Block Text has 1-inch indents on left and right, so you could just apply that style (http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styles/ApplyAStyle.html). If you prefer different amounts of indenting, you can modify the Block Text style (http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styles/ModifyAStyle.html), or define another one for yourself. You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to the Block Text style or to another style of your own (http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToHotkey.htm). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
