I am running Opensolaris SunOS 5.11 snv_101b
November 2008.

I have an infiniband card installed. I seem to have all
the drivers I need.

When I try to see the card and plumb it, no joy.

# ifconfig ibd1 plumb
ifconfig: cannot open link "ibd1": DLPI link does not exist

Same for ibd0

# prtconf

shows no "ibport"

# cfgadm -a

shows disks and USB ports only.

ls /kernel/drv/*ib*
shows

ib ib.conf ibd rpcib rpcib.conf sdpib sdpib.conf

So, how do I get the infiniband cards to light up?

I have read Ch 9 of the devices sysadmin manual, I have read all
the man pages. Obviously I need to do something to at least get
cfgadm to see the card.

These are Mellanox cards.
