Just done this last week...

www.drivesnapshot.de

Connect a usb drive ( I used sata for speed )

download the exe (nothing to install)

Create Image for C and D - if space available on C & D you can create Image
on D for C ...
Restore to new disk... boot up
after hardware derects you'll have 3 days to sort out activation!

(You'll need SBS2008 and use downgrade rights to stay legal)

Works for me - done several upgrades
