Would help if you would include how you are trying to "add another cell"...

The short answer is you are probably trying to add a row or a column that
exceeds the limits of the Excel or include in a formula a cell in a row or
column beyond the limits of column IV or row 65536.

Hi,

It may be that Excel has become confused, it happens sometimes.

To correct thing select all 'unused' columns to the right of your data and
'delete'
then select all unused rows below your data and delete. Save the workbook
and that should reset everything.

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.
