From: trip_to_tokyo on 22 May 2010 12:04 PowerPoint 2007 Take the following actions:- 1. Open your Presentation and go to the slide where you want to add the link (for example slide 2). 2. Insert / Shapes / Action Buttons (at the bottom) / click on Action Button: Custom (far right hand side) / Action Settings window should launch. 3. Click on the Hyperlink to: radio button then select:- Other PowerPoint Presentation . . . - in the drop down. 4. Enter the path name of the file that you want to link to, for example:- c:\presentations\Animation - in the File name: field. 5. Open. 6. Hyperlink to Slide window should launch. 7. Click on the slide to which you want to link. 8. OK. 9. Hit OK once again (back in the Action Settings pop up window). TO CHECK THAT THE ABOVE HAS WORKED 10. Slide Show / Start Slide Show group / click on From Current Slide 11. Click on the blue panel that should launch / answer Yes to the warning that may launch. If my comments have helped please hit Yes. "Ron" wrote: > I want to insert a command button to open another PowerPoint presentation. > Putting a button was easy.
