From: astopal on 15 Jun 2010 10:30 Hi i am unable to install Virtual pc 2007 on winodws server 2003 R2 SP2. As soon as the installation start it returns the error " You are not running on a supported operating system. Please see microsoft virtual pc help for list of supported operating system" After clicking ok you can actually run the installtion wizard and then it again returns an error "Error 1335. The cabinet file "product.cab" required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This coud indicate a network error , an error reading from the cd-rom or a problem with this package. The file is a full installation package downloaded from ms site.
From: Robert Comer on 15 Jun 2010 10:59 You might need to download it again, it could be corrupt as it says. Also copy the installer to the server itself if you're trying to install from a network drive. -- Bob Comer <Microsoft MVP - Virtual Machine> "astopal" <astopal(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:06F01D99-F9F0-46CB-A3C0-8E6F225DBBCB(a)microsoft.com... > Hi > > i am unable to install Virtual pc 2007 on winodws server 2003 R2 SP2.
