I recently bought a new laptop which comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, =
but I'm having trouble installing SAS. The reason for this is, my machine =
is running off a 64 bit OS, while SAS is only compatible with a 32 bit OS. =
When contacting SAS technical support (and also looking on their website), =
their official response is that SAS does not support Windows 7 as yet and =
I should expect mainstream support in the first half of 2010. Fine.. But.. =
This isn't a Windows 7 issue, it is a 64 bit OS issue. And 64 bit machines =
have been around for a short while now, so there must be something to fix =
this problem. What patch or hotfix is available which will allow me to =
install SAS onto my machine?
