Before Windows 7, SAS 9 or higher were only installable on Windows Vista Professional or Ultimate. I had to install SAS 8.2 on my machine with Windows Vista Home edition. Recently upgraded the machine to Windows 7 Professional assuming that I could not install SAS 9.1 or higher on Windows 7 Home edition. My SAS 9.1.3 is working fine on Windows 7 Professional. And, there's the SAS 64 bit version available. I wonder if you've tried installing a 32bit version on a 64 bit Windows 7 Home Preminum. Hope this helps.
From: Lise Werner on 1 Dec 2009 12:12 Hi, thanks for the response. Yes it would seem that I have the 32-bit version of SAS. And I also have SAS 9.1.3. I'm getting the SAS version from my University and they are obviously supplying the 32-bit version. Would you know where I can get the 64 bit version or is this something I would need to organize with my Uni? Thanks for the help. L.
